As times have now changed – rather unexpectedly – it has created a chance for us to look at Tonic Living through a new lens. A chance to reflect and evaluate our goals and the mission of the company. We are more focused than ever to continue bringing you all the beautiful products you love through our growing online shop. But we are making some big changes, stay with me here as I explain...
When we first started Tonic Living 16 years ago, our mission was to bring beautiful designer fabric (often reserved for trade only) to you all in an easy and approachable way through online shopping. Eventually, we expanded into more offerings (hello pillows!), an expansive retail showroom, and built a workroom to offer custom sewing services. The growth has been exciting and challenging.
We want nothing more than to continue bringing designer fabric and exclusive Tonic Living pillows to you, as we originally envisioned (and don't forget the ottomans, rugs, and decor accessories). With that focus in mind, we made the very difficult decision to permanently close our retail showroom and to discontinue our custom sewing services. This will allow us to keep a laser-sharp focus on our web store and continue to bring inspired products the way we always strived to give you all, continuing to ship worldwide.
Tonic Living was one of the earliest adopters of e-commerce shopping, so we’ve learned a lot along the way! This move gives us an exciting opportunity to improve our online experience, streamline order processing, create an easy curbside pickup service in our East Toronto location, and provide exceptional customer care. Don't worry, the pillows you have come to love will still be made in-house!
Sometimes change can be uncomfortable but often it can be for the better and from experience we know this to be true. This is why we are so excited to continue bringing the happy decor you’ve come to expect from Tonic Living. Our sleeves are rolled up, our excitement is high and we are digging in as this new phase of the Tonic Living story unfolds. You have all been such incredible supporters and our gratitude is huge! Thank you so much.
