- Do you send out fabric swatches or samples?
Yes we do! They are $1 each and are available for purchase on every product page. Just look for the little scissor icon that you can click to add fabric swatch to your cart! It's so easy! (swatches usually measure a minimum of 6" x 6" but more often 8" x 10").
- Where are your futon covers and pillows made?
Our futon covers and pillows are sewn in Toronto, Canada.
- Are your covers and pillows machine washable?
We recommend dry cleaning only to prevent both the risk of shrinkage (thus a poor fit on your mattress) and to keep the colors vivid and crisp. Because most of our covers are 100% cotton, (important for natural, breathable, comfort on your skin) this is important to note. However, when it comes time for the dry cleaners it will cost you only $15-$20 dollars to clean which is a whole lot cheaper than having a regular sofa professionally cleaned!!
- Can I get a roman blind or curtains made from your fabric selection?
Yes. We can make hidden tab, rod pocket, pinch pleat drapes, valances, roman blinds and more. We offer 3 different lining options as well, cotton muslin, dim out or black out. Pricing depends on lining chosen and square footage. If you want a quote just email us at sales@tonicliving.com and let us know the fabric of interest, the style of window covering and the dimensions needed. If you're not sure about what size of curtains you need you can let us know the size of the window(s) and we can advise.
- Do you make custom covers to fit my futon mattress?
Yes, we can make any size cover you need. In some cases people have new, ultra thick mattresses (10") and in other cases some people have old and flattened mattresses from years of use (5"). A custom fit is recommended in this case. There is no extra charge as all of our covers are made to order however if it is a custom size then it will be a final sale.
- How can I shop for remnants or off cuts of fabric?
All of our "remnants" or fabrics that are discontinued/retired patterns or are more or less than a yard can be found by entering the word remnant in the search box found in the fabric category, bottom left hand side.
- Can you make covers to fit my pillows?
Yes, we can make pillow covers to fit any size pillow forms that you might already have on hand. Prices vary depending on measurements.
- How long will it take for my order to arrive?
For cut yardage orders we usually process orders within 2-3 business days depending on the time of year. For Futon covers within 2 weeks and Pillows within 1 week. Transit time will depend on what method of shipping you paid for, i.e. Ground or Xpresspost. If in Canada, once shipped it usually arrives within 5 business days for Ground. If in US, once shipped, it usually arrives in 1 to 1.5 weeks. *** CUSTOM ORDERS TAKE BETWEEN 2-3 WEEKS***
- Do you ship worldwide?
Yes, we ship anywhere in the world. Our shopping cart can calculate automatically combined shipping rates to Canada and the US. If you are outside these two countries then you will proceed thru the checkout and pay for your merchandise. Once transaction is complete you will be billed separately for shipping based on address provided and size of order. We contact you by email before making the second charge to your card to get your authorization. Feel free to inquire about shipping charge ahead of time.
- What's your return policy?
We have a 15% restocking fee (based on the pre shipping and pre tax total). For cut fabric orders we will issue a refund once a returned order is inspected and found to be in NEW and UNUSED/UNCUT condition. Shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility. All custom curtains, drapes, pillows, futon covers, roman blinds etc are a final sale unless there is a defect or flaw. :::Please note:::Measurements given for a custom job are the customers responsibility, if you need assistance with measurements before proceeding with a custom order please allow us to assist you.
